I am a muslim girl. I am very religious and my family is very conservative muslim family. I am in love with a hindu guy I met at library and started chatting with him on facebook. My family got suspicious and now I am monitored. Can someone here help me what should I do. I love that guy very much. Though I am a staunch muslim girl but for him I am ready to convert to Hinduism. All I fear is if I run away with him my family would harm or kill his family. Please help me!

Dear Bano, can you explain us what does this mean to you, “I am very religious” and “I am a staunch muslim girl”. Have you read the Koran? What does it says for Hindus? Do you perform namaz five times a day? How do you consider yourself religious or staunch Muslim?

Being born in a conservative family I was taught quran as any muslim child would. Yes I perform namaz five times a day but I never found bliss in it but I have to do it any ways. I am staunch muslim as in I think be it good or bad but my religion is best and I am born to follow the sunnat e nabi. My problem is when I meet my bf who is mushrikeen but he completely changes my. But after some times I get guilty feeling that I defied orders. I am confused.
